Drought and Climate Change ♥s You
Droughts latest wrinkle in climate debate
Climate change is here. Even those who differ over its cause agree that it’s happening. In the United States alone, 28,570 high-heat records have been set so far this year, more than ever before, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported this month.
As if that weren’t problem enough, the world is also plunging into another major food crisis. And what most people don’t know is that the two issues are directly related.
Crux of the matter; Food shortages...less crops because of heat and lack of rain. (Need snow...freezing temperatures...and for those in the know, when that finally
happens, it won't go away. Talking Ice Age here. But that's a looong time from here and now.)
Cutting down forests for crops isn't a solution.
A solution that no one talks about, but has everyone in the know quietly looking east; China's one child policy. Just typing that out is like hearing nails against an old chalk board.
