The Devil Wears Prada - An amazing movie with an awesome cast. Even though it didn't stay completely to the book, I loved every single part of it. I didn't really like Anne Hathaway, but when I saw this movie, I loved her! Also, Emily Blunt is unbelievable. All in all, a great film!

Don't see it. It was awful. Honestly. It was a complete ripoff of Superbad; the characters were modeled after that movie, but watered down and not as interesting. There were some serious plot holes and an ending that was not tied up at all. When I say "not tied up" I don't mean in the artsy, intellectual way (ala Children of Men), nope--I mean just not mentioning what happened. Plus, they were trying to prove their place as an R rated movie and definitely overdid the nudity and swearing; it reminded me of myself when I was in seventh grade and realized that I could swear when my parents were around. Don't see it. Just don't.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

I do like the movie. It's very pretty. BUT, I don't really see the appeal of this series... Besides the effeminate men.

DARN you One Winged Angel. GET OUT OF MY HEAD. You're playing over the showtunes.

I just saw August Rush on Monday. It was really good, a lot better than I expected. The music was wonderful, and I especially loved the symphony/rhapsody thing at the end. Freddie Highmore or whatever his name is was really lovable and did a great acting job. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone who like happy endings!

Australia- This might be the boringest movie that I have ever sat through. It is 3 hours long, and there is like 5 different potential ending points, so it makes the Lord of Rings false endings looking pale in comparison! The story is pretty much uninteresting. Would NOT recommend this movie

Twilight- I personally thought it was just like the book (i finished the book that mourning, and saw the film that night) Ok film, some pore acting, intermixed with some good scenes. The scene with the first kiss is SO hot. 3 out 5 stars

Quantum of Solace- Good movie. If you never saw casino royale you are screwed plot wise, and if you don't remember casino royale that much then you are still screwed. It takes place immediately after that movie ends. I really enjoyed it, and can't wait for the 3rd bond movie in the new series. 4 out 5 stars

Role Models- Loved it. Very funny movie. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Twilight-
Amazing movie with a great cast. (and not just because they're hot haha) I wasn't a huge fan of the books, because I personally don't like Stephanie Meyer's writing style-she takes to long to get to any point and talks in too much fluff-but the movie completely eliminated that. Already saw it twice-even better the second time. Five out of five stars!

Awesome. Cute, fun, beautiful, good music. Just a *good* movie.
I think I'm going to buy it.
and the best English accents from non-english I've seen/heard. ;)
(from Frances McDormand and Lee Pace)

I'm reading the book right now (highly reccomend it, btw) and I want to get the movie when I'm done.

Speaking of the fab Frances McDormand...I just got in from Burn After Reading

 !!!!!

WTF?!?

Loved it.

Perfect balance of me feeling like an idiot for not knowing WTF was going on, and me feeling better, understanding that that was the point.

A Clockwork Orange

Rewatched it yesterday. So amazingly filmed and not to mention haunting and disturbing. Great satirical commentary on society.

10/10

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Watched it with my boyfriend Friday night and we were dying of laughter. It's absolutely hilarious! Sort of along the lines of Superbad/Knocked Up comedy. Definitely worth watching :)

10/10
