I was cast as Emily Arden in State Fair! I'm the sexy one! I'm almost always the sweet friend or the mom.

We open Nov. 14th.

i didn't check the post, but I kept on telling our director that if they couldn't find Grandpa, i would happily dress in drag and play that part

i'm really attempting to find a lot of extra things to do because our director really wants to bring my own ideas to it and try things out such as...

- muterring into the couch 'mmmhhhI'MANOTDRUNK' when ever any charactor's mentions that she is drunk
- having a wig that falls off her head and is later used as.. (Rheba's duster, in the snake cage, in the dinner.. etc)
- sitting into mr. kirby's lap and in addition to pinching his cheeks say 'i'm ready for my close up, mr. deville. (i was so excited when i figured out that was period.)

so yeah. it should be funn.

Didn't get into Wizard of Oz.

not even ensemble.

and the other two auditions I was planning on going to, my mother informed me that I have a HUGE conflict during a performance.

a;ldjflkaj;flkda

I won't be able to even audition for anything else for a long time. Which means I won't be in a show.

HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO NOT BE IN A SHOW FOR MONTHS???

my mother's descirbing it as "another amount of time to improve audition skills." That technically is true, but its been what I've been doing all. freaking. summer.

Awww!    I'm always really really sad after I get rejected. Just think of it this way- I get one show every year. And I only get in 1/2 the time. 8O :?

I just got cast as Delores Dante, the waitress, in Stephen Schwartz's Working!

:D

I'm so excited! It'll be a totally awesome acting and dancing opportunity.
