I thought it might be nice to have a central place to put photos of the revival as they come to light. Broadway World has a feature with pictures from rehearsals and some renderings of the set design. Just a sample:

thank you SO much!!! i am going to use WSS or when I see legally blonde for my evaluation of an external performance, and if i need pictures for wss, i'll definitely check these out!

Thanks for posting these. I'm a bit suspicious of that starry background (presumably for 'Tonight').... it seems a bit too pretty and romanticised for this show perhaps? Maybe it's justified when you see it in context of the entire production though.

I'm pretty sure the starry background will be used for the "Somewhere" ballet, where I think it could work nicely. It does a great job of suggesting a place and time that doesn't exist in reality, but in the fantasy of Tony and Maria's imagination.

It took me a minute before I got it, but then I loved it. The astrological signs in the stars, very cool!

It vaguely reminds me of the Metropolitan Opera's set for Gounod's "Romeo et Juliette"- not entirely inappropriately, I suppose.
