Tommy at the Stratford Festival
I saw this last week. It was VERY good. My only caveat would be that the digital screen projections got a little out of hand in the second act (Des McAnuff has a serious addiction to them) with a lot of "Attack of the 50-Foot Faces" going on.
Other then that, the cast was fantastic, with special kudos to Paul Nolan as Cousin Kevin (he put everyhting he had into this, I'm guessing it's his f***k you to the critics who panned him in JCS on Broadway last year XD), Jeremy Kushnier as Captain Walker and newcomer Robert Markus as Tommy. And the Acid Queen solo was pretty fantastic too...
Anybody going to go see it?
