Post PIRELLI Audition
Hello all!

I'm interested in audition for a Sweeney Todd production for either Pirelli or Ensemble.

The audition requires me to sing two songs. One can be from the show itself the other one should be in similar style as Sondheim.

Any recommendations? Singing "The Contest" can be a little awkward, I think? But maybe not?

Please help me out!
Thanks!

I think what you want is an operatic tenor aria. There's a good one I was just listening to - the Worm aria from "The Ghosts of Versailles." Skip to seven minutes in. I'd suggest singing that and "The Contest," maybe? Both songs can be found in the G Schirmer American Aria anthology, tenor volume.
