Post Sweeney in an asylum.
A recent local production of Sweeney Todd did something very interesting. Before the show and during intermission, the actors were all in an "insane asylum" and the audience was there visiting. The some of the performers were hospital attendants, and Fogg ran the actual asylum we were all in. They all had a disability (or trait, you know what I mean) that reflected there character: Lovett was an alchoholic, Sweeney had extreme anger management, Johanna was blind, Toby had been abused, the beggar woman was a schizo (duh),Turpin was, um, well. Use your imagination  .

Anyways: What do you think was wrong with Anthony? (I think it was depression...but the actor didn't make a huge choice, so I couldn't really tell.)
What about the Beadle?
Pirelli?
Any thoughts on the asylum idea?

The recent revival kind of used this concept....the show opened with Toby in a straight jacket.
