Post Nellie's scene change
How does Nellie dry her hair, style it, and put on an evening gown in the whole 10 minutes between "A Wonderful Guy" and the next time she has to come out--the finale of Act 1. It seems like a pretty daunting task.

Well, she has the whole scene with Emile after "Wash that Man", plus all of "Wonderful Guy" to dry her hair (via towel and air--those hot lights?). Usually, Nellie has very short hair so that's how it's able to dry quickly. And while she has 10-15 to change, that's PLENTY of time for your typical Broadway actress to slip a dress on and brush out her hair (remember, if its short, there isnt much she can do with it and even then, being on a Marine base, there isnt much she would do with it. Or she could just wear a wig. Most actors on Broadway do anyways. But 10 minutes is more than enough time. I mean, sometimes you might have like one minute to change.
