Post South Pacific Audition for College
Hi...I just learned that my college is doing South Pacific for their musical and I just learned that I need to prepare sixteen bars of a "upbeat" song. So I have two questions...since I don't really know the show at all...what song should I prepare and what part should i audition for.

I'm a freshman in college...about five foot five...dirty blonde...blue eyes...tenor...I think that's it. Thanks for any insight.

The plum role for a tenor is Lt. Cable. Recommend you go to the auditions thread for ideas on the audition song. JIJane lurks over there frequently and is extremely knowlegable in this area.

first off..but the cast recording..see the film or read the script. get to know the show inside and out. then work on developing a knowledge of the roles for auditions.
