Hey. I'm playing the roles of two Navy Nurses (Ensign Bessie NooNan and Ensign Sue Yaeger. (My director decided it would be easier to condense the 9 Nurses roles!) I need to find shorts and a top that can be knotted under (sorry if I'm not making much sense!!!) I'm quite fair, blue eyed, brunette, 5"3 and curvy so what colours should I stay away from and should consider. Any one who has been a Navy Nurse please put down your experiences! Thank you in advance :D

Post Technically...
South Pacific for the Navy really only has two colors = khaki and white. Depending upon your budget, Navy Nurses should have the white "summer" uniform (WWII so the uniform would have the knee length skirt). Nurses were considered officers, btw, so they would be Ensigns to Lieutenants... The alternative is the khaki uniform. Epaulettes would have the medical corps insignia (gold oak leaf).

Casual dress might consist of white shorts, button white shirt, and/or white T-Shirt...
