Post subject:  interested in all female leads - how to choose audition song

Hi!

I'm thinking about auditioning for a community theater production of Anything Goes (I'm not sure which version). My question is about audition songs. Though my dream role would be Reno, I would also be very happy with the other female leads: Hope or Erma/Bonnie. I have a really big vocal range and have sung both high soprano parts, as well as belting alto parts. I'm having a difficult time deciding what song to use for my audition because I would like to showcase the fact that I can sing both styles/ranges (sweet soprano and also belty mezzo & alto with some attitude). I'm trying to think of a song that somehow shows both but I'm drawing a blank.

I hope that's clear.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks! :)

How about "No Man Left For Me" from The Will Rogers Follies? sort of a torch song, has some lower beltier parts and some higher notes as well.
