I'm playing the Purser, and we've got just over a week until opening night (ahhhh, excietment!!!!! )
My director has me (and my double, we're all double cast), play him as super camp and flamoyant (which kind of suits me), which is interesting I guess, but apparantly it's really funny

I'm Hope Harcourt for our college sophomore musical. I am SO excited! Our Billy is awesome and this is my first time being a lead in a musical production. We're doing the '62 version which I like a lot, but I wish "Goodbye Little Dream, Goodbye" was in it... Oh well.

I was in the ensemble when our society did this last year. I thought it was going to be really boring at first, but it turned out to be one of the best shows I've done, sooo much fun.
Sometimes I still break out into a chorus of Blow Gabriel Blow.

I played Erma! It was such a fun show. I auditioned for it just to be in ensemble, I didn't know the show that well and another friend of mine really wanted Erma. She ended up getting an Angel (she is better tapper than me) and ended up LOVING Erma! She is such a fun part to play it always makes you feel good when you make the audience laugh

 Re: Who'd you play?
I've done the show twice. First time was in high school, and I played the Bishop. It was the '62 version. Second time was 11 years ago, and I played Moonface in a mixed version (a little '62, a little '87).
I highly doubt I'll ever have more fun playing any part other than Moonface.

 Re: Who'd you play?
I played reno in a community theater production and Girl 3 in my school's production When i was reno, i almost twisted my ankle and bruised my arm pretty badly the night before the first showing but i still performed the next day. It happened from the quick change backstage, when i was running downstairs to change, and my heels got tangled in the step and i flew and ended up on my arm and leg.
