Depends...favorite song to play is undoubtedly Henry Ford, it was lots of fun (lol sorry, I've never seen the show in my life, but I know the music inside and out...I was a pit musician for the show this past summer) and we all got really into it. Journey On is my favorite song overall...more to listen to, because it was kinda meh to play, but omg I looove that song anyway.

overall...much listening love for: Journey On, He Wanted to Say, New Music
much playing love for: Henry Ford, What Kind of Woman ('cause...how 'bout that oboe solo at the end, right guys? *looks around* *crickets* well...there is one...and it's cool...), Wheels of a Dream

I have to say Wheels of a Dream, because I sang it on the Liverpool Empire!

Gah, they're all amazing. I just recently discovered Ragtime, and I can't stop listening to it. My favorite(s) are, let's see

Journey On's the best, with Your Daddy's Son close behind. But the Prologue, Make Them Hear You, Til We Reach That Day, and Henry Ford are also all amazing.

"Make Them Hear You" makes me shiver and tear up almost every time I hear it. Something about it is just so powerful. I also adore "Gliding" because of the strong love Tateh (sp?) has for his daughter... It's just so lovely. Makes me think of my dad, who commutes weekly from Kentucky (we live near Cleveland, OH) just to support my family. Naturally a different story, but I guess I'm just a Daddy's girl. :D "Back to Before" is another favorite, and "Your Daddy's Son"... Mmm I just love practically all the music in Ragtime, I suppose. Lol.
