Okay, we all know that love should die and that the sequel was pointless and wasted money. But what you may not know is that they are already planning the Phantom sequel here down under. The show will open here next year, and the original Phantom of the Opera show is still touring. They are stopping the original Phantom, for Love Never Dies! What a waste, considering the Australian cast has not been around that much :( Although I would probably go to see LND anyway, I strongly believe that they should've stuck with Phantom for at least a couple more years. this kinda confuzzled me when I heard about it. Thoughts?

That's just nonsense. They are not stopping the tour for it. I thought the tour was already over, unless they're doing NZ now. The tour only went around once, and was only ever going too, just like most Australian tours. Si9nce the tour opened in 2007, it's had its run anyway.

Well....if Anthony Warlow plays the Phantom then it will literally be all they need fix in my opinion...someone who sounds amazing who's old enough to play the role.

Personally, I don't think Anthony Warlow would want to do the Phantom again. He only did the 07 tour because of his daughter. However, I have a feeling Roy Weissensteiner will be the Australian LND Phantom.

Wait...what? Was it his daughter's request for him to go back an reprise the role?

I think it was because he wanted his daughter to see the stage version because it's better then that awful film.

He wanted his daughter to see him do the role. He's said no more national tours because they are too exhausting.

Simon Pryce was the understudy I saw. Very good too.

That has some truth to it. He mentioned she "has her judgements" of the movie.

And I agree about Simon Pryce. I saw him the second time I went. I didn't see Roy, but ther are recordings of him on youtube. For the Australian Christine understudy/secondary understudy(Sarah Bakker and Simon), there aren't any youtube boots, which is disappointing. I loved Simon, and I'd like to hear Sarah.

Speaking of the Australian Christine's, that makes me wonder who the LND Christine will be. My money is on Ana Marina, a Christine-newbie, or even one of the original production's Christines. Julie Goodwin would probably be too young, but then again, they DID pick Sierra as Christine. What are some other peoples' opinions?

I think there is a good chance of Marina Prior getting the part.
