Post Which lyrics were by Stilgoe and which by Hart?
Is there anywhere on the net where I can find out exactly which of the lyrics were written by Richard Stilgoe and which ones by Charles Hart?

I think all of the stuff in the managers' office is by Stilgoe, as well as the the titles of most songs. As for exact, I don't know.

I always assumed the clever and fun ones were Stilgoe.

Why?

I guess I had always assumed the clever ones were by Hart - because I thought Stilgoe's lyrics to "Starlight Express" were so stupid and painfully unfunny... on the other hand, maybe Stilgoe was just having a serious off-day when he did "Starlight Express"... who knows?

Can't help you with who exactly wrote what, but as a rule of thumb if it's funny it's Stilgoe, if it's emotional it's Hart.

Most of the titles are Stilgoe's. Some of the songs have earlier versions (e.g. the title song by Stilgoe and Batt) before Hart was brought on board which will also help.
