I don't know why they made a second promontional video with the same song, but for some reason, they did. So I'd thought I'd share.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAMx3qfi-M0

I personally like the video and the song, but just on it's own. I think it just sounds sappy if you connect it with Phantom. What do you all think? Would you say it was better than the original promo?

I think I agree with EponineBarker. Thinking about it in Phantom makes it feel kinda schmaltzy to me, though I still like it. Ignoring Phantom, however, gives it a Josh Groban love song feel to it, which (for me, at least) tones down the schmaltz factor. Oh and this promo is way better than the first...same deal. It's less Phantom-ey and more Josh Groban.

A Josh Groban feel? I never thought of it like that, but I definately see where you're coming from. :) I think I like this better than the original promo too. Whenever I watch it, I see a completely different story for it, just not Phantom-related. (Haha, 'schmaltzy'. I love it. XD)

I know! It makes a really good angsty love ballad. And the video is actually pretty interesting. I like how its vague on the backstory. You could make it mean almost anything. You came almost forget about the sex doll watching this new promo XD

I don't manage to conjure up much opinion on this. It's a nice tune with some lyrics.

It sounds like ALW pastiche. Except it's real ALW.

Nice tune??? It sounds like something Alan Menkin would write if he was making a awful musical!!

It's not particularly hideous, just dull.

It's rather cheesy but I am afraid that I have to admit that I like the song. I think I liked the other video better though.
