Post Who really is the biggest ALW Phantom of the Opera fan?
Think Guinness Book of World Records. Who could be listed as the most obsessed fan of the show? Is it you? Curious to find out who it is.

How many professional productions of Phantom have you seen?
How much money do you estimate you have spent on tickets?
How far have you travelled to see the show? Have you ever flown internationally JUST to see it?
Do you own every item of merchandise available from the merch stand?
Do you have any Phantom themed tattoos?
Do you have any children named after the Phantom?
Do you have any pets named after characters in the show?

Just thought it would be fun to have an obsessed Phantom of the Opera fan competition.

It ain't gonna be me, but whatever, I'll answer it anyways

How many professional productions of Phantom have you seen?um...only one...
How much money do you estimate you have spent on tickets? Uh..about $90 since I only saw it once
How far have you travelled to see the show? Have you ever flown internationally JUST to see it? I'm fourteen, so everytime I ask my parents to go to Englang or some other country they anwser, 'no and stop asking'
Do you own every item of merchandise available from the merch stand? Nope. just the Prima Donna tee and 3 cast albums
Do you have any Phantom themed tattoos? again, I'm fourteen so no
Do you have any children named after the Phantom? Again again, I have no kids and I don't plan on them in the near future...althought if I ever have a daughter, I may name her Christine, because I think its a pretty name and normal
Do you have any pets named after characters in the show? My parents won't let me have a pet.

So clearly I'm not a super fan.

How many professional productions of Phantom have you seen?
Four; West End, Essen, Hamburg, Copenhagen.

How much money do you estimate you have spent on tickets?
Oi... I've seen POTO 39 times. I've spent a LOT!

How far have you travelled to see the show? Have you ever flown internationally JUST to see it?
Yes! Have travelled to London and Copenhagen several times just to see POTO. I also put in an Essen stop when I travelled Europe some years ago, to see the production there. And if I had the money I'd travel several places just to see it. But alas...

Do you own every item of merchandise available from the merchandise stand?
Neeeh. I only buy souvenir brochures and cast albums, plus items I can actually use. I love my laptop bag from Copenhagen! Also dig the "magic mugs".

Do you have any Phantom themed tattoos?
Nope, no tattoos whatsoever.

Do you have any children named after the Phantom?
I don't have any children. But Per Engström, who's conducted POTO for nine years in total (Sweden and Denmark) named his daughter Christine, after Christine Daaé. That's so sweet!

Do you have any pets named after characters in the show?
No, I don't have any pets at all. But I know lots of people named Erik, Christine and Lotte, does that count? He-he.

Ooh let me try :D

How many professional productions of Phantom have you seen?
Four.

How much money do you estimate you have spent on tickets?
I don't know. Probably about $400 US bucks?

How far have you travelled to see the show? Have you ever flown internationally JUST to see it?
Yeah. Well there was a thirty minute drive from my house to the theater in my country when they came- I saw them twice when they came in 2007. Then to New York. And then to London. But I didn't go to London JUST to see it.

Do you own every item of merchandise available from the merchandise stand?
I try to. So far I have the Masquerade-playing monkey, the mask, the mask mug (which doesn't work), the key chain, the pen, the Prima Donna tee-shirt, the jacket, the poster, and a few other stuff that I can't quite recall.

Do you have any Phantom themed tattoos?
No. What am I supposed to write there? "I love Andre and Firmin"?

Do you have any children named after the Phantom?
I don't... have children.

Do you have any pets named after characters in the show?
When I was younger I think I named my soft toy after Christine. And another one after Meg.

Righttt.

How many professional productions of Phantom have you seen?

-1st U.S. National Tour (Los Angeles; San Francisco): 4 times.
-2nd U.S. National Tour (Los Angeles): 5 to 10 times.
-3rd U.S. National Tour (Los Angeles, Costa Mesa): 5 times.
-Broadway production: 3 times.

Around 17 times (estimate). Damn it. I hate it that this is the only show for which I don't have an accurate count. Actually, there's a very slim possibility that I'm off by 1 in my Les Mis count, but I doubt it.

How much money do you estimate you have spent on tickets?

I don't know but front row tix back in the day were $60. They were $75 by the time I saw it on Broadway and when the 2nd NT came to L.A. After that, depending on the venue, tickets were anywhere from $85-110 apiece.

How far have you travelled to see the show? Have you ever flown internationally JUST to see it?

Not that far: NYC

Do you own every item of merchandise available from the merch stand?

No. But I do have a 1995 calendar with glossy photos and several souvenir brochures.

Do you have any Phantom themed tattoos?

Nope. How tacky, lol.

Do you have any children named after the Phantom?

No.

Do you have any pets named after characters in the show?

No.
