As yes, there's always Elisabeth. There's no way they could make a sequel to that even if they tried. (Unless it was about Elisabeth and Der Tod's adventurous escapades in the afterlife. )

Even though I'm annoyed about some of the character developments in Love Never Dies, (Raoul's mostly) to be honest, even though the author of The Phantom of Manhattan says that his book is the sequel to ALW's Phantom, I don't consider it official cannon. So I'm just pretending that Love Never Dies doesn't exist. :P

(And thanks, Mistress! :D I have no idea which thread you posted it in cause I haven't been here in forever, so I didn't get it the first time.)

Post LOVE NEVER DIES: New Character Revealed
An interview in The Daily Mail has turned up news of another character: Naimh Perry will create the role of Fleck. Of how this character fits into the show, there's not a word.

Later days

It is too late to stop the disaster beyond imagination that is LOVE NEVER DIES, but it is not too late to speak out against it.

The fans will not be silent. No sequel is needed for a story that ends perfectly.

Id guess some people have trouble accepting any changes or ads to theyre favorites (and phantom has been around since the 80ties) but you had to remember that this is after all a musical off ALW himself and I find the idea off doing something completely different as a follow on rather than the standard concepts is quite thrillling. And Untill I hear you sing is a really good song.

Didn't really understand that. How is it doing something different to revisit a hit you had twenty years ago because nothing you've done since has met with as much commercial success?

And a big  =D> to LoveShouldDie, I like it.

The title alone is enough to put you off "Love Never Dies" as it is both naff and factually inaccurate.

Cause we already have countless movies thats basicly takes the characters and the place and thats it.

As for me I am a huge fan off Cats and would love to see ALW do a follow on to this smash hit just as he did to Phantom (I doubt that will happen thou).

If what you mean is that there have been a lot of movie sequels, that's true. So? POTO and LND are not movies. Have you thought about why there have been so few sequels to stage musicals? There must have been some reasons or there would have been more than a handful of such sequels.
