Post Phantom Under the Mask - horror makeup.
My theatre group that my friends and I started will be doing a revised version of The Phantom of the Opera. As I am the only one who knows how to do stage makeup, it has fallen to me. I will be playing Christine. Here's the link to our website. http://hyperenergeticneruoticnarcissist ... eebly.com/

I think this makeup will work very well. I'm pretty sure that it won't rub off even with the mask on if we powder it enough.

I used eyelash glue to create a sort of skin falling off sort of thing. It created an interesting texture, especially around the jaw and side of forhead. But, it might not be worth it if it can't be seen from stage. Though it looks freaking cool upclose.

I'd suggest powder and a setting spray over it to keep it from rubbing. Knox gelatin (the kind you can find in the Jello aisle at your local supermarket) can provide some interesting and more visible texture/disfigurement, and is easily removed with warm water. Here's a gelatin tutorial on my website:

If you want the makeup to stand out even more than what you currently have (especially if you're on stage), I think you should play more with various colors to add highlights/shadows to create a look of depth. This girl did a fine job of getting a 3-D look with only two-dimensional makeup:
