I mean, think about it: they're both about a con man going into a Podunk little town and pursuing an 'old maid' character, then get run out of the town after the thing they came for gets accomplished anyway. Does anyone else see this?

It is rather similar. However, the execution of the piece is quite different, so I'm kinda okay with it. It's good, so what else is there to do other than enjoy it, right?
