Yeah, it's a school show, combined of both the Middle and High Schools. I was really surprised to get this part because, being on the younger side, i thought the directors would give it to an older High Schooler. But I am also really excited because I have NEVER been able to play a comedic part like this, so this is new. Can't wait to start rehearsals!

I played Mrs. Paroo which I know sounds like a boring part she actually has some pretty good scenes. She's very playful and I loved being able to knit on stage. I had to learn and Irish brogue for it which was the hardest part but I just got the part of Nancy in Oliver! who speaks with a cockney accent so learning the Irish accent actually helped me get the part.

I don't think Mrs. Paroo would be a boring part.
For my audition, we had to do a monolouge of her's to see if we could do the Irish Brogue, and i failed miserably! I think i can do just about every other accent except for that one....lol

Yeah, the role of Eulalie is basically built as a show-stealer, and ours in my production successfully did so just about every single night!
