Post A Heart Full of Love Cover (Eponine or Cosette?)
Here's a low quality recording of me singing both Eponine and Cosette
in A Heart Full of Love.

If I were ever to try out for a production of Les Mis
in the future, what role should I audition for... Eponine or Cosette?

Well i'd just like to say first that you have a very lovely voice!
Now, in my opinion, i think Eponine suits you more. You sound more like a mezzo soprano than a full soprano for Cosette, and theres nothing wrong with that. I recently played Eponine in my community theatre, and what an experience that was! I think, though the role being smaller than others, can really steal the show if done right. And i think you could do it.
Now i can sing some soprano roles, but i find Cosette very difficult to sing. My best friend played Cosette and she is a fully trained soprano, very comfortable in her high range. It could just be that voice recordings, for me at least, dont sound like me at all, so it could be just that.
But if you were given the chance to chose, Eponine would be bigger that Cosette, but both of them are very important in one way or another.
Hope this helped
And if there is a production of les mis somewhere near you, you have to do it. You wont regret it, no matter what part you get:)
