Samantha Barks was on BBC 1 "Breakfast" today. Did/Can anyone see it? It won't play on my Apple products. :(

I think it's region-locked (at least in Canada). It won't work for me either.

But then again, I'm using my Mac to watch it.

LOVED how he belted out "24601" at the end of the soliloquey and BHH sounds quite lovely too.

I'm actully very impressed by the Confrontation. It would've been a doozy to film, and they seem to have gotten down well enough. I think I agree with the opnion that Crowe may the weakest vocally of the cast, but he seems to be acting the hell out of the part to make up for it.

Oooh. Found this:

I get so excited when ever I see The Confrontation, it's the song that got me into Les Miz and I just did it in a concert. I have to say even though the singing in the movie is REALLY RAW I am still looking forward to it.

Those people claiming that the song “doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know” are idiots. Neither does “On My Own.” Neither do “I Dreamed a Dream” or “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” by that way of thinking – of course Fantine is disillusioned and distraught, of course Marius is grieving, anyone would be, why should they sing about it?

I Dreamed a Dream reveals some of Fantine's backstory.

That's true... I Dreamed a Dream is the moment when we really get to know her.
That's not the case with On My Own. That's why I think I will like it better with the new earlier palce of it in the movie. Maybe On My Own will now be the moment we'll really get to know Eponine.

I'm really glad they did fill up the background music from what I can tell in the 60 minutes clip.

Where has On My Own been moved to?
