i like them all, including ressurrection. Warlow is god - his jekyll/hyde is close to flawless in my opinion - and linda eder is incredible 2, go with the warlowe one

The 1990 Concept is worth the money if only to hear Colm wail his way through This Is the Moment, and The Confrontation. But moreso, the song Till You Came Into My Life is worth the price of the album all on its own.

I hate to say this, but I think the Resurrection recording is the best. The rest of them put me to sleep.

Which recording is most like the show?

I hate to come in here and admit I know nothing about the show, but I have to ask this stupid question. I'm doing stage crew and helping out at a local community production, and I just got the OBCR out of the library. Will I be surprised when rehearsals start running at songs that aren't on the OBCR?

People are pushing to get the show back to how the Warlow recording is, but even when it wasn't the Warlow recording had The Board of Governors scene that was excluded from the Broadway cd. Anthony warlow is flawless, with Robert Evan coming in a close second. I have to say I'd want all the songs to be like the Warlow recording except for Alive and Dangerous game, I'd like Ressurection style. And Confrontation, have Jekyll's part be Warlow style and Hyde's be electric guitars

I'm just too used to the complete concept recording. The Ressurection doesn't do much difference. Actually I think I like OBCR even better than the ressurection. Maybe I need some time to get used to it.

I really see no improvment whatsoever with the OBC. just a huge step backwards. Ressurrection's at least a step sideways from the complete concept recording. (I did like the Facade Reprise that John Tracey Egan sang though)

I agree the ressurrection's taken a different way to interpret the show. The arrangement is interesting, but I think it pulls too much attention, to deviate from the vocal, and I'm by no means a fan to heavy rock style, at least not as regards to Jekyll&Hyde. Furthermore, I find nothing extraordinary about the three leads on the ressurrection. Rob Evan might be great live on stage, but sounds a little weak on the recording. On the other hand while I don't care for the broadway version much either, the cast recording is overall slightly more pleasant to listen to. That's just my current opinion. Maybe I need more time to get used to the ressurrection. But the complete concept recording will always be the top on my list.

I want to change my vote to the Warlow Recording.

Bloody fantastic.

The OBCR is not nearly as good when compared, imho.
