Post 2011 Godspell Recording
Just had a listen through and overall I think it's pretty good. It seems to totally draw inspiration from Glee in terms of its arrangement and instrumentation, but some of the renditions are phenomenal. The cast seems solid enough and its really energetic (I think I'll post a full review later).

Any other thoughts?

Yes! Godspell's great! My favorite song was "Day by Day." They actually just came out with their 40th anniversary celebration CD a few days ago! I'm considering buying it...

I have this CD and totally love it. My favorite songs are All Good Gifts and By My Side.

I'm really not a fan of this particular revival. Hunter Parrish to me isn't a very good vocalist - he sounds like one of whose white-guys-with-guitar who always win American Idol nowadays, and the new arrangement of Turn Back O Man is annoying. A pity because Godspell is one of my favourite musicals.

Can someone who is familiar with both versions of the musical answer some music questions for me?
