 Erroneous
How big of a part does Erroneous have? What scenes does he appear in?

Erroneous is a cameo part. He has something like two scenes, in addition to popping up occasionally to say "First/Second/Third time around..."
A small part, but if directed well, can be one of the funniest.

Very true. I watched a video of a high school production, and that part had me giggling. Didn't he have the "gaggle of geese?" or something like that? (Don't know if I spelled that right, but that's what it sounded like...) That was funny.

Erroneous, if done well, can be a very satisfying part. While the 1964 film version is disappointing in many ways, Buster Keaton's turn as Erroneous is one of the highlights. (By some accounts, he also took over as director when Richard Lester decided he couldn't stand Zero Mostel.)
