Post Philia Auditoins
Hey guys. Updating you. I auditioned tonight and last night. I kinda screwed up my vocals last night... the accompainment didn't help much... but I ROCKED my reading scene like crazy. There are 5 girls against me... and their all really good. I hope I get it. I don't know if their calling us tonight, tomorrow, or if I have to wait until Thursday for the cast list...
Keep the fingers crossed kids. I'll update you

Post The part I got
Yeah.. well, it came down to this:
Four girls (two over 18 and two under 18) for Philia
and two boys (one over 18 and one under 18) for Hero...
I'm over 18... so I couldn't read with the one under because I looked "too old" for it... I'm only 18. It's a community theatre...
Anyway.
The older Hero was wonderful, and I read the best with him.
The younger Hero was MUCH better, and another girl read well with him. They got the part. Not me.
I'm pretty bummed.
Instead I got a Gemini... I've cried and let myself be upset for a while. But I'm over it. I mean, they have like, the longest music and they get a line... and I am a good ballet dancer... so let's alll look to the bright side...
And hope that girl trips and falls..

You hope she trips and falls?!

Hahaha! Aw, that's the spirit! Congrats on the part, anyway. I'm sure you'll have a great time with the show.

Congrats even though you didn't get the part you wanted. I hope you enjoy the show.
