Dear "Annie" Fans,

Has a REAL orphan home ever put together a stage presentation of "Annie"? I realize that the mere prospect of casting REAL orphans as orphans might be ironically sad, but I'm still curious to know if the staff, and the residents, of any orphanage have ever put on a production of "Annie".

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Not to my knowledge. Why not ask a similar question over in the Oliver! forum?

I would think not. It would most likely be upsetting for children in foster care/orphanage to put on. If it counts, my bother was adopted from Eastern Europe. He was cast in a summer production of "Annie" when he was younger and hated it.

Although well intended that is a dumb ass question

I believe Les Mis has been performing with real french peasants

Chocolate factory has searched far and wide for real oompa lumpas

Oh and they managed to wrangle a musical genius out of the parisian opera house for a residency at Her Majestys Theatre

Dear thatsgoodtoo,

My professor husband and I once had to tell some people here to go fly a kite!

I realize that he almost left with a female flying trapeze artist this Summer, and that we're currently going to couple's therapy with the renown Dr. Ben Dover, but I am not afraid to tell you to go fly a kite all by myself!

The act of dubbing any creative question "a dumb ass question" reveals you to be a true, U.S.D.A.-certified presumptive ignoramus, because how do you know that orphans have never performed in this show? Even I don't know the true answer to my own question, hence the reason that I was asking that question in the first place, anyway. Like, duh, I am SHURR!

Have a lovely day, and never underestimate a woman who goes to see the renown Dr. Ben Dover once a week!

Thanks in advance for your reply.
