Post Rooster and Lily?
My school has gone against any idea of better judgment and decided to do Annie (not Jr.) instead of Into The Woods. Since my school is strict on many things, Mr. Warbucks and Ms. Hannigan are being played by faculty members, therefore the only 'good' male part left is Rooster, which is the part I wanted from the beginning. Anyway, my question is, how many scenes are Rooster and Lily in in the original version?

WHAT?!?!?!?

That shouldn't be allowed! School shows are for the students to perform, not the teachers!!

My thoughts almost exactly. The directors wanted adults because Ms. Hannigan is a drunk and clearly a child abuser and Mr. Warbucks can't be the same height as Annie, because when they hug it looks wrong.

Rooster and Lily have four scenes total -- the scene in the orphanage that leads up to "Easy Street", the second appearance in the orphanage in Act II where they propose the scam to Miss Hannigan (including the "Easy Street" reprise), and two scenes at the Warbucks mansion where they are passing themselves off as the Mudges. Rooster isn't a huge part, but he's sure memorable! Plus "Easy Street" is the best number in the show!

Bummer about the two adult leads getting taken by faculty members though. Why would a school choose to do a show with lead roles that they don't think is appropriate for students to play? That seems really stupid to me.

I don't like your school if they let teachers be in the student's show.

Yeah, I don't like it either. I am sooo FRICKING pissed right now. I didn't get a callback yesterday, because the teacher wanted me to act like a monkey, but I couldn't think of how to like a monkey.
