Post The look of Miss Hannigan....and a question about the doll
Dear "Annie" Fans,

Which style does Miss Hannigan usually reflect during most of the show? I mean, I know that she evokes a 1930s fashion aesthetic, but which kind of a 1930s fashion aesthetic does she evoke, and how is she usually portrayed, looks-wise?

Like, does she usually dress in sort of fanciful, ridiculously flamboyant clothes, or in clothing that reflects a woman who is only moderately successful, or in clothing that's just barely presentable[/i][/i] and clean? Is she usually dressed as though she's trying to pick up men, or does she usually look fairly modest? Does she usually look like a drunk, or does she just act like one, or is it no longer PC to even portray Miss Hannigan as a drunk during the 2010s?

Are her looks used to vilify her character? Is her hair made to be extra stringy, or messy-looking? Does she sport stage "sweat stains", distressed clothing, messy mascara, scratched-up high heels, cheap jewelry, tight-bodiced dresses, or clothing that makes her look like a saggy, Over-the-Hill sourpuss?

I'm also curious to know which color her hair usually is, and if there have ever been any grey / greying Miss Hannigans onstage.

With regards to the song, "Little Girls", is there usually a doll involved, and does Miss Hannigan usually pull the doll's head off, or does she just toss the doll across the stage?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Till Next Time,

I want someone who's the deviant version of Fred MacMurray, David Tomlinson & William Schallert....but who has the looks of guys like Dan Haggerty, Kris Kristofferson & Tom Selleck.
