We're doing Fiddler right now and I was cast as a chorus member, but I'm also the Fiddler. Should be fun!

Minor roles that are often (but not always) cast from the chorus are: Yussel, the hatter who supplied Motel's wedding hat; Grandma Tzeltal; and Fruma-Sarah.

When I did Fiddler I was Mendel and a bottle dancer. Doing the bottle dancer was maybe one of the best things I have ever done because there were no velcro or anything like that. Not to mention its make everyone in the audience go crazy.

I was Grandma Tzeitel, u/s Yente, and part of the russian ensemble. And it was an amazing production. The man who played Fruma Sarah (yes, we had a guy...) and I got to be flown crazily across the audience and it was a blast!

I played Tzeitel. this was a small community theater production and about 7-8 years ago. Someday I'd like to play Golde.
for the most part, I really loved out cast, except my Motel. Lazar and I joked backstage that I would gladly take him; forget that tailor! ;)

Me too! WOOT!

That was the best acting experience I probably ever had. Sad, isn't it?

I was Perchik, aka, the bad-ass son-in-law. I just did this show, last week. It was the "Junior" version, though. The full version is much better.
