If Joanne was the one who sings "Getting Married Today", then YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

...no...that's Amy, Paul, and another girl depending upon the cast.

Joanne sings Ladies Who Lunch, The Little Things You Do Together, and others.

I would have loved to see it, yes. It would have been interesting.

Hypothetical.
I was watching the episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy and Ethel go to charm school and later when she was trying to be all rich and fancy I thought wow she could be Joanne!

Hmm she'd be a good Amy too! But it would've had to be written a lonnggg time ago for her to be Amy. I think she could've actually been Joanne in the original production.

Hell she probably could've played any of the ladies LOL!

Ohhhh, gotcha'! Yeah, at my first thought was: "Was this back in the 70's?"
Company would have had to be written in the 30's or 40's for her to be a good age for Amy. Although it would be absolutely hilarious to hear her sing "Getting Married Today".
I'm not sure if she is bitter enough for Joanne. Of course, I don't know what her personality was like when she was older. Perhaps.
I do know she was in a musical called Wildcat, and her daughter was in "They're Playing Our Song" (this confused me when I first got the recording of the musical).
