I think I will tape this even though I don't know much of anything about the show. *Waits for rotten tomatoes*
Is there anything I should know before I watch it.

Besides the fact that it's awesome?

Well, basically, it's about five married couples in a Manhattan apartment building, and their relationship with an attractive thirty-five year-old bachelor named Bobby. They want to see him married, even though their own marriages are far from ideal.

I'm most likely going to end up buying the DVD. I don't think it's airing around my area anymore....

There's nothing wrong with that!

I know absolutely nothing about this show.
And that's why I'm going to watch it! =D

I saw it, too. Fortunately, people in Connecticut got to see it at 9 pm tonight. :)

I loved Raul, but I wasn't too crazy about the other performers. They were good, but not outstanding. The New York Times critic (name?) thought that since the the rest of the cast was slightly bland, that it gave more attention to Bobby (in a good way). I can see that.

I enjoyed the doubling of musicians/actors. It wasn't as gimmicky as I thought it would be. I was amazed that some actors played two different instruments! How do they play with no conductor??

I saw iti n NYC and hated the Doyle concept the instruments obstruced the actors majorly.

rewatching it..I disagree about the supporting cast. Barbara Walsh gave a wonderful new thrust to joanne and that whole scene. the Harry and Sarah scene was perfection..much like a noel Coward play.

Raul was the 2nd best Bobby of all time..next to the undefeatable Dean Jones of course.

rewatching it last night made me wish they scrapped the actor/musicians crap though. it really came alive in the book scenes when you werent being annoyied by instruments.
