Post Questions... ASAP responses please!
I'm having trouble finding the information I need so if someone whos familier with this show could help me, it would be most appriciated. Here's a few questions I have.

What are the age ranges of the actors? (What age would it be appropriette to audition)

What vocal range are the main characters?

What is a good website you can recommend for finding some more information on this musical?

Thanks a bunch and I'm so sorry to ask this but I've been having some trouble finding the information. It just feels like I'm asking you to do my research for me and I'm so sorry. Thanks a banana bunch - BBEddy1

I think that the age ranges could be anywhere from about 20 to 55--some of the characters are meant to be a bit older. The main character, Bobby, is 30. He has three girlfriends who could be a tad younger than 20 possibly, and several married friends who probably range from mid-20s up to 50 or so.

I saw the Cincinnati production and I think most, if not all, of the actors will open on Broadway in November. I doubt if anyone was under 30 in real life.

Bobby is 35. The show opens and closes with the party for his 35th birthday.
I'd say Joanne is the oldest, probably in her mid to late forties. Larry about the same age as her.
Amy and Paul I'd say are the youngest couple, late twenties maybe.
Bobby's girlfriends are probably mid to late twenties.
I'd put Sarah and Harry at about the same age as Bobby, maybe slightly older.
Susan and Peter, around Bobby's age, maybe a year or two younger.
Jenny and David I'd place at early thirties, like 31, 32-ish.

Glad to be able to have been of help!

I personally think Joanne is older than Bobby.

Joanne has to be older. Otherwise, her character isn't as funny.

I was giving ages for the characters themselves.
All the characters could, of course, be played by someone slightly younger or older.

Amy once refers to the fact that she is thiry-one.
And sorry about the double-post, but the Company board is pretty dead and I felt the need to throw that out there...

I think Robert's just a high baritone... Marry Me a Little is in the baritone/bass volume of "The Singers Musical Theatre Anthology." Goes down to a low G.

Yeah, he's definetely a high baritone, other than at the end of Being Alive, does he ever go into "baritenor" range?
