Post How important is sex appeal when casting Bobby
Hi there,

I am an average looking man (can't tell from my Avatar) and I have always wanted to play Bobby. Does Bobby have to be an Orlando Bloom type?

Bobby doesn't have to be Orlando Bloom (Orlando would suck as Bobby) and I think Woody Allen is just a little too old. Nobody in the show should be a hearthrobs. Everyone should look like normal, average people--your friends.
Here are pictures of actors who have played the role:

Boyd has him a lot of chest hair. And I can't see his left nipple, so maybe he should get that checked out.

I'm sorry. I didn't know you were auditioning. What did you sing? Did you get a different role in the show? Did you ask why you didn't get cast?

No I didn't ask,

I sang Being Alive, and sang the same verse twice, (Damn Nerves), but you wouldn't have noticed if you didn't know the lyrics already. Then the accompanist cut me off before I could finish. There were only 12 people there so it's not like there was a huge line of people waiting to sing after me.

Oh well...

I'm sorry. I've almost done that in an audition, but I've caught myself and switched back to the right verse.

The Bobby I saw was not very sexy at all; it was kind of awkward seeming him in the Barcelona scene, because he seemed so unfamiliar. Works better that way, now I think of it.
