REVIVAL
there is going to be a revival of A Chorus Line for the 206/2007 season
i think some leads and director have been chosen but other than that not much info out there
wouldn't it be cool if for some reason Spamalot either closed(which i dont think it will do for a while) or moved theatres(which again probably won't happen) so A Chorus Line can have its home back (Shubert Theatre) where it was for 15 years(?)

I like ACL. . but as a broadway show.
The movie was a horrid recreation. If that's what you base your opinion on. . then you are definitely missing out on what this show has to offer.
Sm**chies!
Jacob.

I'm seeing the pre-broadway run in SF next week..so I think it's like totally cast, unless they're going to change it b4 it hits Broadway..I
'm so excited..I have only seen the music but I listen to the CD religously and it is my dream "dance" show..I adore it..super excited to see the stage version

I bought my tickets for when it opens on Broadway, and I'm incredibly excited. Cassie is one of my dream roles, and I know Charlotte d'Ambroise will be fantastic.

Boring? I'm amazed that so many theater people think so! If ACL is boring, than what is Oaklahoma, My Fair Lady, Funny Girl and Meet Me in St. Louis? The pre-Broadway production in SF is extremely good, in my opinion. Unless you hate the show, in which case you shouldn't see it.

Not so much boring as totally mediocre and unimaginative. I mean except for 1-song, the rest of the score is a snooze. Not even that stupid "One."
I mean what's so exciting about an audition? For God's sakes, that's what you put on when there isn't a paying audience. But when you charge, please put on a REAL show with a plot, scenery, costumes and a decent score.
The movie was certainly better over this mediocre stage version.
