Post The Line: A Salute to the OBC of ACL - ONE NIGHT ONLY

The Line features original cast members of the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning Broadway production of A Chorus Line performing songs from that show as well as other musicals. The incredible roster of talent also includes cast members from the Chorus Line Broadway revival and touring company.

More Details About This Event:
Original A Chorus Line Broadway cast members Kay Cole, Patricia Garland, Sammy Williams (Tony Award), Ronnie Dennis and Nancy Lane will join other Broadway Chorus Line alumni Matt Zarley, Christina Saffran Ashford, Kathryn Wright, Kevin Spirtas and DeLee Lively for a special evening of music from A Chorus Line and other Broadway shows. Joining them onstage will be cast members from the Broadway Chorus Line revival, Alisan Porter and Brad Anderson, plus touring and regional cast members Theresa Hayes, Tara Radcliffe, Jill Townsend, Geoffrey Kidwell, Laura Nickerson, Russell Nickerson, Luis Avila, Craig Donnelly, Ty West, Brittany Carson and many more.

Los Angeles Ovation and LA Drama Critic Award winner Gerald Sternbach serves as Musical Director.

This is a benefit in support of Valley Musical Theatre’s programming and educational programs.

About Valley Musical Theatre:

The new Valley Musical Theatre (VMT) brings you some of the best musical theatre as it becomes the newest professional musical theatre company in the San Fernando Valley. Starting with an inaugural production in Fall 2006, VMT hopes to grow into a nationally recognized company that will produce full seasons of professionally mounted Broadway musicals. VMT will also be working with the LA Unified School District to bring the arts to their schools by bringing students to the theatre.

About Ford Amphitheatre:
The 1241-seat outdoor Ford Amphitheatre is set against a backdrop of cypresses and chaparral in the Hollywood Hills. It is relatively intimate: no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are presented during the summer months. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

This event looks awesome!
