Last I heard, which was a few months ago, ALW is aiming for a Broadway run either Fall 2016 or Spring 2017. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

Hey, are any of you guys planning on seeing any other performances? I think my boyfriend and I might drive up there on the 19th, see the evening show, stay the night, and then see the matinee show.

I only plan to see the matinee show. I really wish they would have placed both a matinee AND an evening show on Saturday... oh, well...

I hope your plan works out and I hope El Nino holds off that day and night...

Here's what I'm doing now.

Seeing the Sat show at 7:30pm. Arriving in CA that morning early and then checking into the hotel. Will see the show that night. Then on Sunday, I'll be seeing the 2pm matinee with Rumblepurr. Anyone else seeing the Sat show? Let me know then. I'm only seeing those two shows and I'll be traveling back home on Monday morning.

I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing the Saturday show too. Did you choose your seat yet? I was thinking it might be cool to see the show from the first row of the back of the orchestra section, since I'm sure there will be a ton of interaction between those 2 sections.

Also, do you know which hotel you'll be staying at? My boyfriend and I will probably stay overnight.

I may not be able to join you guys on Sunday. I know for sure on Saturday I can't join you. My cousin is getting married. I may go to one of the other shows of someone wants to join me

It's been confirmed on the Lewis Theater Facebook page that Janet will be directing this production. They're already advertising auditions. Callbacks will be on January 20, so we should have a cast list hopefully shortly after.
Any word or rumors on casting?

Nice to see some returning faces, although I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed that we're getting Debbie again as Griz. Nothing against her, it would just be nice to see someone new.

So what's the plan for next week? I'll be at the Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances. You guys want to meet for lunch before the show? Or we could eat afterwards.
