No mention of a date. Maybe sometime next year or by the end of this year. Nicole will end her run in Feb. Possibly too soon for her to do a late 2015 run on Bway.

I just don't want the London costumes reused for a possible Bway run. Take the old costumes out of storage or make new ones, I'm taking to you...Parsons Meares! :-)

I'm actually upset about this. Now all the people who have never seen Cats before are going to see this crap version and get the wrong impression. Sad.

I don't like the London costumes OR makeup. Am I alone here?

Yeah, I agree something special has been lost with these new changes to the show! I'm sure Hector won't like it either. And having Nicole in that ugly new Griz costume just takes the cake. But I'll probably go and see it for a few times with Hector if and when it comes back. Just getting into New York...ugh! But I'll do it for CATS, even though its a now crap production in London.

One thing is certainly sure about this production is that I'll certainly be the biggest critic of all since I went through the first run from 1982 - 2000.

I wouldn't call it a crap version at all, though the changes don't entirely fit if you know the show. No one else notices and the reviews have been raving. The changes have grown on me (I also don't waste energy on hating anything) and it is the full-out professional production. I love the London-style costumes and makeup, I particularly find the makeup quite cute. I've never liked the other look, though, it's quite harsh and diagonal.

I do wish they'd stop casting celebrities with hit-and-miss singing technique, though she performs as well as anyone otherwise and her enthusiasm was huge.
