Post subject:  CATS in Texas

Recently, I was costume assistant/assistant to the costume designer for a professional production of Cats in Texas, staring Ken Page and Todrick Hall, as well a a bunch of former members of the Troika tour.
It was quite an experience, being the first time I've ever worked on costumes for a production, as well as only the second time I've been involved in a show of any sort (the first being an ensemble member of a community theatre show). I made some wigs, warmers and tails, as well as a lot of hand sewing of stuff like poppers/snaps, elastic, fluffies, etc, and general maintenance of the costumes.

The costumes were designed by Mia Siegert (whom some of you may know as ABT), choreography was a mix of Gillian Lynne's original, and new choreography by Yvonne Racz Key, and it was directed by Gerald Dolter.
