The Palos Verdes tickets are now available for purchase. They're $55 for front orchestra seats. I'm still deciding when I should go. It's about an hour drive from where I live, so matinees may be the best option, though I'm willing to do evening too if that's what others prefer.

Anyone want to plan a fan meetup? There are 5 matinee performances, Saturday and Sunday.

I am open so far for all dates Fortunately, my ticket for StEx is on the 18th... Say when before all the front seating goes.

Any idea about the quality of the show? If good, I may go for matinee and evening.

You're seeing Starlight Express in San Bernardino? I wanted to check that out too, though it's a long drive from OC.

I noticed on their season brochure, they used pictures from Candlelight Pavilion's Cats production, which used the FCLO costumes. Last I heard, Christine was thinking about renting out her costumes. I'm not sure if that's still her plan. But it looks like they will be using the FCLO set, which is good.

There's a Saturday matinee and evening performance on May 2 and 9.

May 9th sounds best for me. Too bad you aren't near the 91 or I could pick you up on the way to and from the show. I will check out the tickets for the 9th. Hope Christine gets the costume rental.

I dont know if the company will be renting my costumes out or not, or if Dana and Billy are directing the show or not either.

I got tickets for the matinee, C-17 on May 9th. C-10 for the night show.

Purrs,
VTWC

I'll be sitting in C18 for the matinee and C11 for the evening May 9th performance.

WOW, the theater is apparently only 450 seats. La Mirada has over 1,000. Very cool!

So apparently Janet Renslow is choreographing the Palos Verdes production next month. She did the choreography for the San Diego production! I'm so excited.

Good to hear about the Choreographer. I will be traveling a long way for this show... somewhat anyhoo... Dining locations are close-by in the Promenade - walking distance.

Hope to see you and VTWC at PV on May 9th. I will be in B14 (Matinee) & B13 (Evening)

Yes, I will be there on the 9th. I really want to see it before then, but it's a bit of a drive for me too. We'll see!

Auditions were yesterday. Hopefully we'll get a cast list soon. I'm reeeeally hoping we get a new Grizabella. Nothing against Keli Provart or Debbie Prutsman, but I've seen them too many times.

Cast list is posted on the website, though it doesn't say who is playing who: http://www.norriscenter.com/2015Cats.html

I'm VERY happy to see new faces! And Jake Dupree, who played Tumblebrutus at La Mirada, is returning. I hope he plays Tumble again, because he was probably my favorite cast member from that production. Jenna Wright (who played Tantomile in La Mirada), Eric Taylor (Coricopat in San Diego), Bailey Sonner (Jemima in San Diego), Steven Rada (Mungojerrie in San Diego), and Arielle Meads (Victoria in San Diego), will also be returning.

CAN'T WAIT!

According to the Rogers and Hammerstein website, the Lewis Theater in Rancho Cucamonga is doing Cats in March of 2016. I've been to that theater twice and it's the perfect venue. Not a single bad seat. It's also located in a beautiful shopping center.

Great news!

They took photos from the old Fullerton costumes both me and VTWC worked on. They are using the old Jellylourm I painted for Demeter and the old Silabub that I took hours painting for Bomba.I will post images soon of the pics I took.
