^ Yeah, I noticed that too. They're from Candlelight Pavilion's production.

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
So apparently there's a theater in Palm Springs doing Cats in October. Tickets won't be available til August 1st. Looks like it's a small theater, so I'm not sure if they'd be renting from Fullerton. I'd probably call and find out before buying any tickets. http://www.palmcanyontheatre.org/event/ ... c682618311

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
I can go to check this venue out since it is practically in my my back yard. From what I can deduce from the sites, this venue puts out professional grade shows, but I am not sure of the quality of the cast and crews. One comment said "Non-profit", so your guess is as good as mine.
Unfortunately, the tickets do not go online until August 1st.
Respectfully submitted, Rumblepurr The "Old" Writer Cat

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
The actual stage looks kind of small, so I don't know if the Fullerton set would even fit. I wonder how far in advance they need to reserve the set and costumes. It's a long drive for me, so I don't want to buy a ticket until I know for sure the quality of the production.
I wonder if we'd be allowed to call FCLO and ask who they're renting out to. Would that be confidential information?

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
I looked up reviews for the theater on Trip Advisor. A lot of negative reviews for their production of A Chorus Line, which is another dance show. That's not a good sign....
Edit: One review mentioned that they sometimes hire equity actors.

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
Tell you what... I will go see the Saturday, Oct 3rd show, and let you know how it went. As to contacting them, they do have E-Mail: boxoffice@palmcanyontheatre.info Conventional info:538 North Palm Canyon Drive Palm Springs Ca 92262 Phone: (760) 323-5123. As to a bad review on ACL... Agreed - not good Karma at all... As to asking for director, set design costumes and choreographer? I am not sure how to approach them with that. We may have to wait until August 1st when the ticketing is released.

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
You may as well check it out if you're so close! I'd prefer to decide if I'm going or not in advance, rather than during the actual run. That's cutting it a little close. Anyway, I imagine they'll have auditions in September, so they'd have to know something by August....right? Guess it wouldn't hurt to call.

Don't forget VTWC wants to go to Mickey's Halloween Part sometime in October. We should know what dates she wants to go by the end of July.

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
That would be cool to combine trips both to the Halloween party and maybe seeing the PS show if I can drive a rental car out there. It's a long way though and I'd have to fly back home from the Palm Springs airport. Never heard of this theatre's productions.

Re: Upcoming Productions/Events in Southern California
This is what the stage looks like: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/palm-can ... d9BN5rJiQgI dunno, seems really small to me. But if they could fit the set on there, it'd be another intimate experience! I like that there are aisles. Suzy, if you want to carpool, I wouldn't mind checking it out. It's too far of a drive for me alone. Maybe if VTWC is in town, we could all carpool up there.
