Does collge count as post-school? (It isn't high school...)
My first musical ever was Singin In The Rain my Jr. year...I was the police officer and got to stare Don down as he was "dancin', and singin in the rain."
However, if collge counts as post school, it was this spring when I did Once Upon A Mattress.

The Music Man with a Jewish community group. I was 11. All the other kids went to mucho expensive Jewish private elementary schools. I went to a regular old public one and nobody talked to me. It wasn't because I wasn't Jewish, but because I was a public school kid! haha.
Actually, only one girl was nice to me. We ended up going to high school together, being friends, but not close, and ending up in theatre school together after high school! We've been in this conservatory program of 23 people in my class together for 3 years! We were actually double cast in Richard III! Too funny. Small world. Lovely girl.
I played Jacey Squires in The Music Man. He's one of the dudes in the barbershop quartet. Yep. I was an 11 year-old dude.

Re: your First Musical"Mr. Scrooge" with a community theatre. I was Harry, and I was eleven.
But I tend not to acknowledge that because it was a pretty crappy production. I typically recognise Dauntless in "Once Upon a Mattress" as my first. I was fourteen, and it was a different community theatre.

I still have the script around here somewhere.
Being a junior version made the show exceedingly lame, though. They took out the pregnancy, most of the Jester/Minstrel parts, and they got rid of Normandy and Yesterday I Loved You. Not so fun.

Have yet to be in a musical of any form...
But it'll be probably whatever musical I do this summer with a group of my friends.

When I was seven, I did my first community theatre show, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. I wasn't any of the principal parts; I was basically in the ensemble but had a few lines. Good times.

Charlotte's Web. Children's Theatre. I was billed as "Little Girl".
Big-Kid theatre... The Who's Tommy. Sally Simpson. That was badass. I'll always remember that one.

Outside of school? Seussical, and I was in the ensemble. I'd already done a couple in school (for paying audiences), though.

How come musicals from school don't count? My first musical ever was Children of Eden, and I've adored it ever since. I don't care what anyone else on here says, I think it's fantastic. And, it was my favorite musical to perform in.
But, outside of school, I performed in 42nd Street at a performing arts school. It was amazing.

When I was 11, I played Ewart Dunlap in my elementary school's production of The Music Man, but it was very cheesily staged because it was meant to just be sung by my school's chorus class, to the point where I halfly consider it as my first musical, it gave me a good taste of it, a year later I was Winthrop in a fully staged production of The Music Man at my middle school.

so if school/college doesn't count, I won't count amusement park shows and dinner theatre review things, or anything unpublished, which would make
H2$ my first book show not in an educational setting.
I was Hedy LaRue.
It was not a great production.
