I'm just curious and would like to know who the youngest and oldest actresses to portray Elphaba and G(a)linda are? As a principle performer,not as a standby or understudy.

Anyway, I don't know her name, but the youngest Glinda is about 22-it might be Erin Mackey from Chicago. I found that on Wikipedia a while back. I don't know about Elphies, though. All of the well-known ones like Idina, SJB and Julia Murney were all in their mid 30's when they got the role (SJB is still doing it, actually). The youngest that I know of was Shoshana Bean who was about 29/30 when she took the role, but there could be someone younger that I didn't know about.
