Yesss!Finally, Into The Woods is coming back to London! It looks like a really interesting cast - Gary Waldhorn (of The Vicar Of Dibley) as the narrator, Anna Francolini as the Baker's Wife, Clive Rowe as the Baker, Gillian Kirkpatrick as Cinderella, Peter Caulfield as Jack, Suzanne Toase as Little Red Riding Hood, Beverley Klein as the Witch, Nicholas Garrett as the Wolf/Cinderella's Prince, and Nic Greenshields as Rapunzel’s Prince. It runs only June 14-30th? This is West End we are talking about right? Because why would there be such a short run for West End? | ||

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I thought it would be better to post here, as the Into The Woods forum seems to be prety much dead.
As to the length of the run, I'm guessing that because It's being staged at the Linbury Studio, part of The Royal Opera House, it can only have a limited run due to the popularity of the venue. Not entirely sure though. |

PS, we have plenty of short-run shows in NY, too. Look at Juno or Gypsy last year... |
