For a strange reason, a local theatre company is doing BATB this summer(a year after my school did it)!!!!!!!!!

I'm so going to audition, granted that I don't get cast in an earlier audition. They asked for two songs, a ballad and an uptempo.

Ballads are easy.....but I only have two uptempos praticed and possible to have ready in my rep: What's the Use of Wondering and I Know Things Now.

I'm thinking of doing What's the Use of Wondering and Far From the Home I Love for my auditions for all the girl roles. Any thoughts?

Hey, I know it's like two weeks away, but there is a song from Jane Eyre that kind of echoes Belle's character. It's called "Sweet Liberty". It's a little belty at the end, too.

My mother informs me last night that I will not be auditioning regardless if I get into another show or not because of gas prices to drive half an hour away for pratice .

So I gave my mother a choice. If I don't get into My Fair Lady(I'll know by the end of next week) I won't have a show to do. So I told her, either she could let me audition for BATB or she could pay $100 to put me in the Missoula Children's show plus gas prices for a fifteen minute twice a day ride.

That does stink! Let us know what happens..I hope you get to do BATB, especially if it's what you truly want. I would kill for a theatre in my area to do this show!
