Wow, that's awesome! You'd have pretty big shoes to fill after James Gillan, though.
Have you any idea when, should you get the part, you'd join the cast?

Wow! Break a leg. Let us know how it goes.

Break a leg! Is James Gillan definitely leaving, or are they casting on spec?

The cast change should be beginning of September, I think?

I'm sceptical...no offence to the OP but If my agent got me an audition for Elphaba, I wouldn't tell a soul, except close family and friends.

woooh!

No offence to the above poster, but i posted it as i am really really happy that i am being seen for something like this, and wanted to share the good news with other artistically minded people. I do many things, but lying is not one of them.

Use capitals.
Use vowels.
Add consonants in words like "u".

No problem. Someone will probably post you the MdN rules soon.

Wicked is an Actors Equity contract show. Only actors with union status can audition unless a special audition is posted. If you are union, you don't need an agent to audition, but you can use one if you'd like. The Equity website posts auditions and all members are invited to attend. They list they date/time/location and the actor/dancer goes there and does their thing.

Hope this clears some things up.

However in britain Equity is far less powerful. The rules in the states do not apply outside.

I was responding for Americans but thanks for the info regarding London rules. As an Equity member I should probably know more about rules regarding West End! Thanks! Very Happy
