Wonderful Town?

I was thinking of buying the Wonderful Town" cast recording, is it worth the buy?
Marcellus

Yes. It has lots of good songs. Based on "My Sister Eileen", it' s set in 1930's Greenwich Village and is by Bernstein, Comden and Green (which may be why it's a bit like On the Town).

Its okay. not bernstien's best..I always find it a bit long.

but if you get a recording get Roz Russell in the OBC .

Thanks!
Marcellus

There's two Roz Russell recordings available. The OBC is on Decca Broadway. There is also a TV soundtrack on Sony/Columbia. If stereo is important to you, go wiht the Sony, otherwise with the Decca.

We're doing this at my school! It's a really intense show...you should get the Donna Murphy version, it's crazy good. DO IT! Very Happy

Donna Murphy is brillaint but the rest of the cast isnt half as good as the OBC.

and as much as I adore Donna, Roz still owns that role.
