Widow Corneyumm i got cast as widow corney a couple of days ago but i was wondering how exactly to portray her. Can anyone give me some tips?

She is a lower Parish Offical. very shrewish and very power hungry. she is charmed whrn mr. bumble woos her but soon finds out it was for her money..and she doesnt have any money!1

you can really steal the show with this part - you need to be quite dominating over Bumble although you really do love him. you must have great comic timing to get this part - well done!!!

I was thinking of playing her role as really mean to the children and kind to bumble until after they get married then i feel like I should be bitter to bumble

like she wants to marry bumble so make a big deal about the flirtishness at the start but when ur with the kids be overly fierce that it's funny, but not so much that we're not scared.
in act 2 when she and bumble are finally married she keeps picking at him and is really overbearing.
in one sentence: there's alot of reading between the lines with this part, and make the most of the innuendo (and outuendo  ) that's already there
