Why no Assassins Forum?Seriously!!!???
By the way. There's a production opening tomorrow at the Chance Theatre in Orange CA. Tickets are 30 bucks or 27 for students, seniors, and military folk. Great cast. I know and I've seen the Booth, SJM, and John Hinkley perform in other productions.

Yeah!!!! And why do we have Gypsy and WSS in the Sondheim area. Just because he wrote the lyrics, doesn't make it a SONDHEIM.

I agree! Assassins is one of my favorite Sondheim shows; it definitely deserves a forum. And honestly, I wanted to buy tickets for the Orange County presentation, but I'm so broke right now I can barely pay attention.

As the name suggests, it's about famous assassins and kinda tells their side of the story, but at the same time doesn't commend them for killing people or anything. Um... I'm sure someone else can explain it better than I can...

Basically, it's about nine people who tried to kill a President, examining their motives.
It suggests that the one, main tying motive that they all share is a need to connect. The theme of connection is a common motif in Sondheim's shows...
